The Mark of a Praying Christian

Remember the marks of the true intercessor: a sense of the need of those without Christ, a Christlike love, an awareness of personal inadequacy, faith in the power of prayer, courage to persevere in spite of refusal, and the assurance of an abundant reward. These are the qualities that change a Christian into an intercessor prayer warrior.

The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results.
James 5:16

The word "intercessor" means one who intervenes. Intercession is prayer that pleads with God for your needs and the needs of others. But it is also much more than that. Intercession involves taking hold of God's will and refusing to let go until His will comes to pass.


Are you an intercessor? Do you wish to be? Pray to God and ask him to grant you a closer relationship with him.

Dear Lord, please give me a closer relationship with you Lord. I want to do what you have written for me in my Book Lord. Don't let me be swayed to go back into my old ways Lord. I need you Lord.
Clean me up and give me that Spiritual Eye in which will help me see things more clearly Lord.
This i pray in Jesus name, Amen.

Pray for Physical Healing

Heavenly Father, we come to you today in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Heavenly father, it says in Matthew 18 when two or three are gathered together in your name that you will be in our midst. We have come together to lift up (put the name here) to you today. We rebuke any affliction, any inflammation, any sickness, any radical cells, any abnormal growth at this time Lord. We bind those spirits and loose them in Jesus's name. We demand they leave in a normal way through Christ Jesus. We bind all Satan's evil, wicked, lying, perverse, unclean, demonic, or religious strongman, including all spiritual strongman of infections, viruses, cancers, abnormal cells, lesions of any kind, spasms of any kind, pains of all types, sickness, disorders and diseases of all kinds. 
Heavenly Father, we ask you now in Jesus name to release your healing virtue, your miracle healing power upon (put name here) from the top of her/his head to the bottom of their head. Restore every part of the body Lord. Create a new dwelling place that is swept new. Bring everything in total alignment Lord. We ask that you provide a hedge of protection around her/him and their family in Jesus name.

It can be for anyone you feel that is in need of prayer. Please state the first name and what you would like the prayer for in a short description.

Example, Aunt May has been diagnosed with x disease and i need prayer for a healing for her.
